No. 121: MAX DOMI & FATHER / Fit to be untied

The face is familiar but I can’t place the name
I’ve always got along with Tie Domi. Back in the day I had written about him a few times and I always had a soft spot for players who made their living the hardest way—usually great quotes, no filters. And I talked to Tie more than most tough guys. In fact, with the bar now levelled for another much-needed Toronto condo, I can admit that Tie and I had an after-hours beers at Wayne Gretzky’s with the other seat at our table for three filled by his fast friend, Mats Sundin. Good times.
